Meme: Ask the characters

This one sounded fun.  Ganked from earlgreytea68 .

Pick a character that I have written, or that you know I have substantial headcanon about, and ask any five questions about him/her. Be sure to specify whether you would like responses to be OOC (responding as the writer) or IC (responding as the character).

My questions are for the honorable Tragan Vehik. :)

1.) How has your life changed since the adventure with the Doctor and Donna?

2.) Did you have an inkling that you'd be rescued?

3.) What's your favorite color?

4.) If you had to go back and do something over again, what would you have done differently in that experience with the Doctor and Donna?

5.) How has your experiences with the Doctor and Donna impacted attendance at your lectures?

1.) The Imperator honoured me with a Silver Moon of Valour in the Second Degree. I intend to teach fewer classes next year, in order to have more time for writing monographs. In high summer, during threnakh season, I will visit my lodge in the South Mountains. It is a quiet place, suitable for writing and other scholarly pursuits. I will bring my youngest grandson with me. He can make himself useful about the lodge, and when I require silence, he can go berrying. Doubtless I will need to accompany him once or twice to instruct him in proper technique. It will be tiring, but I have an obligation to educate the youth of my House.

2.) No. I knew that I would die. I performed all of the necessary calculations. Had it not been for an unexpected variable -- the TARDIS -- I would have died.

3.) Creshaya -- the colour of ripe threnakh berries.

4.) If you had to go back and do something over again, what would you have done differently in that experience with the Doctor and Donna?

I would have gathered more data before interacting with them. They were... not what I expected.

5.) How has your experiences with the Doctor and Donna impacted attendance at your lectures?

Not at all. My lectures are attended only by faculty and students registered for the corresponding courses. However, I seem to receive more dinner invitations than I did previously, often from individuals with whom I am not acquainted. It is not proper for me to accept them all, so I base my decision on the reputation of the hosts -- and their cooks.

I want to ask the Doctor (yes, you with the leather jacket and satellite dishes):

1: When did you first realise that Rose was important to you?

2: If you could go back and not press that button to end the Time War, would you do it?

3: What does Jack mean to you?

4: I bring an invitation to tea from Jackie. She's making shepherd's pie and heading down to Asda for a bottle of cheap red. Will you accept?

5: Disaster's struck. Both Jack and Rose are about to die. You might just about have time to save one of them, but not both. Which one?

I want to ask the Doctor (yes, you with the leather jacket and satellite dishes):

Oi! Mind your manners if you want any answers.

1: When did you first realise that Rose was important to you?

On Platform One, when she asked where I was from. If anyone else asked, I'd 've told them to mind their own business. But Rose -- I wanted to tell her, 'an I knew I shouldn't. So I let some of my anger out, an' that distracted us both 'til the temptation went away. Not that it made a difference in the end.

2: If you could go back and not press that button to end the Time War, would you do it?

If? Time travelers can't afford to ask 'if'. Start down that road, an' there's no end to it. Every decision point leads to a dozen others. *long pause*. If I hadn't done it, Romana would've done. I didn't want that to be her last-- Yeah, I'd do the same as I did.

3: What does Jack mean to you?

The Captain's a good lad. Cool-headed in a crisis... a fair mechanic... talented in bed. He makes Rose smile, an' I know he'd die for her. He's just another stupid ape... but he's mine.

4: I bring an invitation to tea from Jackie. She's making shepherd's pie and heading down to Asda for a bottle of cheap red. Will you accept?

*snorts* Still gettin' used to this regeneration. I'm in no hurry to see what the next one will look like.

5: Disaster's struck. Both Jack and Rose are about to die. You might just about have time to save one of them, but not both. Which one?

I'd find another way. I'm the Doctor. I don't accept 'impossible'. I do the impossible every bloody day an' twice on Sundays. *very long pause* Rose. She's so young, even for a human. She's scarcely lived. Jack would understand. 'Sides, I dunno how I'd tell Jackie Tyler that her daughter-- that Rose-- No more questions. I'm done here.

*wild applause*

I think at least two of these answers deserve more elaboration. In a fic, perhaps? ;)

Did you have two particular ones in mind? :-)

It can't be #3, as I've already written that one. (Choices)

Oh, 5 definitely. 1 and 4 would also be very interesting :)
